How does it work? Real Easy!

Your Mailbox in Vancouver becomes your Alternate Address, just have a look at the samples below. You'll see two address labels. The one marked "Individual" shows a typical address for PERSONAL USE (using your name instead of A.J. Smith). If you wanted your new address to be for BUSINESS, then use a Business Name, like "Smith Computer Consultants" or AJS Engineering or A.J. Smith Widgets or whatever (again, using YOUR business name only).

It's as simple as that...What? You say you want to use your new address for an additional name or names? Absolutely.

Have a look below at the box marked "Price Schedule" for a mailbox size that should fit you perfectly and besides, you can always add a name for $3.00 per name, per month. Just let us know.

Don't want to use your own name at the moment? Then use a "pen" name or "code" name if that suits you better. Names can be added, changed, removed at a moment's notice (for a small handling fee). All it takes is an e-mail or a call from you.

And there's more! Many customers prefer to customize the address to fit their special needs. For example: You could add "Suite", "Unit", "Room", "Apt.", in front of the number 207 in the address, giving your address that personal touch.

As mail is received for you, it is kept secure in your own mailbox, or storage area for parcels, until it is time to be forwarded, in accordance with your instructions. You are assured that your mail will not be opened and that your actual location and/or identity will remain confidential.

As a mailbox customer you may request additional services, such as bank money orders, newspapers, scenic post cards, courier service, etc. and other specialized services. Please see our Section on "Virtual Assistants"

For example, one customer asked us to call him at a certain time, every workday for 2 weeks. We agreed on a fee for this service and the customer was "pleased as punch".

To rent a mailbox, your initial payment would include the cost of the mailbox,  Tax (GST), a nominal setup fee and a deposit to cover costs and services.

Name additions: $3.00 per name per month (or upgrading to larger box) No charge for signatures (deliveries, registered mail) $10.00 setup fee for all accounts.

Mail Forwarding

Mail Forwarding Service is provided for customers who have rented a mail box. It is more or less a necessity for most customers, except for those who live in the local area and are able to pick up their mail personally. This service will forward your accumulated mail to a destination of your choice - most likely your residence, your vacation spot, or alternate local address.

A cover envelope or plain wrapped package will contain your unopened mail and will be sent to your forwarding address by first-class mail, unless otherwise specified. FedEx, etc. being an option for greater security and speed. In addition to your address, our return address will be the only identifying mark; for example:

Courier Service

Accutype offers dispatch and pick-up of deliveries by courier, FedEx, DHL, UPS, Loomis, etc.--for local, national and international delivery. This service is also used on occasion for Mail Forwarding and Re-mailing. Rates individually quoted. Established accounts have immediate access to send and receive.

Re-Mailing

Re-mailing services have become an undeniable fact of life world-wide. Somewhere, someone, right now, will want to or need to have someone else believe that they are presently out of town, or have moved far, far away. Does an unwanted or abusive relationship ring a bell? Or how about just sending that certain individual a postcard or letter from Canada? Or make your payment from Vancouver-Canada?

This service does not require a mailbox rental, unless you want to use our return address to also receive mail. There is only a one-time fee of CDN $20 to set up a re-mail account for you, where we will record the dates of re-mailing.
